Hello guys,
as you might have noticed, I finally uploaded a new picture here on deviantArt
Actually it's my first upload here on dA since over 3 years. As I've mentioned in the last journal entry, I was very busy with finishing my studies. I started working in the beginning of 2016 and since then I was very busy with moving, working...and so on. And I have to admit, that the hobby of photography was simply neglected in the past 3 years.
The uploaded picture was taken on my 9100 km and 14 days long Roadtrip by car through Sweden and Norway. I started in the area of Stuttgart in southern Germany and drove all the way up north to the Lofoten islands in nothern Norway. Even though it was rainy most of the days, I really enjoyed every single day on the road.
Some more pictures of this Roadtrip can be found on my Flickr Account. Here's a small selection:

Time for Updates
Hi there!
Yes, I am still alive, even though two years have passed since I've uploaded my last picture to dA. :giggle:
As always I have been very busy with my studies. Additionally, I have been travelling a lot in the last 12 month due to my work in the Automotive Industry. I have visited wonderful places, like Sweden during the wintertime, Italy in autumn and spring and southern Spain in summer. Anyways, due to work I simply wasn't able to go outside and take my time for taking pictures. Especially in Sweden I saw so many inspiring places, that would have been perfect scenes for pictures...
Currently I am working on my graduation t
Updates
Hello everybody :w00t:
After not being very active for quite a while I thought it's about the time to update this page again :)
I haven't taken pictures for several months, since I've somehow simply been to busy thanks to my studies or I simply wasn't satisfied with the results.
Nevertheless I try to update my Flickr Account with snapshots I've taken. Be sure to always check out my Flickr Photostream.
The latest pictures on Flickr are from a Roadtrip over the highest mountain roads in the french, swiss and italian Alps with my yellow 1973 BMW 1802 touring. We drove over 4000km (about 2500miles) in less than 10 days.

Repaired Camera
Hi there
Finally I have my Nikon back :)
I've sent it to Nikon to get it repaired. The shutter unit was broken, so they've installed a new one and cleaned the body. Now the camera should be just as good as it was back in 2007, when I bought it. So far I wasn't able to test it, but I'm really looking forward to it :)
Meanwhile be sure to check out my Flickr Photostream! In the last weeks I've uploaded several pictures my Scandinavia Roadtrip last summer:
Sold print
Yesterday I sold a print of this picture:

This is my second print I've sold here on deviantArt.:w00t:
Thanks to the person who bought it. Unfortunately dA won't tell me who it was. I really appreciate your support and hope that the picture will look great as a print! :)
So far I don't have any news on my camera issues. I will send it to Nikon soon to get a cost forecast for what needs to be fixed. Hopefully it won't be too expensive since I don't know whether it would be worth it to spend a lot of money to get an old Nikon D80 fixed.
